He was a blessing from the beginning. He had the sweetest smile and the most contagious giggle. The happiest little boy. Just never sad. He was so kind to others and had the most caring heart. He was a simple little boy that didn’t ask for much. He was so very happy being outdoors. He loved all outdoor activities from sports, fishing, hunting, gardens, farming, hunting arrowheads, metal detecting, riding bikes and so much more. He was smart and worked so hard at everything that he did. Without a doubt, whatever he chose to be, it was known that he would be a great success.

We believe in giving back to our community in honor and memory of our sweet angel. We know that is what Preston would want. The opportunities you have to participate in our events will help support our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of youth in our area. Preston's Memorial Fund will be used to provide scholarships, give to our academic and athletic programs, support community initiatives of kindness and giving, and remain #alwaysmarshallstrong.

Scholarships
At www.playlikePreston.com, we are dedicated to supporting Marshall County Seniors in pursuing further education. We believe that through empowerment of our youth, Preston's memory will be forever remembered. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
Bed Ministry
Among other organizations in our community, we have been blessed to help support the Bed Ministry and Marcella's Kitchen. With these initiatives, our goal is to promote opportunities for those in need. We want to provide people with basic necessities while encouraging them to fulfill their dreams. Youth Outreach
With our foundation’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new opportunities to support the youth in our community. Through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, we have been able to provide Bibles to students at Marshall County High School in memory of Preston. Advocating for our youth is something we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact, such as Back to School Backpacks and support of our Marshall County Rotary Club, which benefits youth services in our community.
“We received this at the funeral,” Brian said, showing us a photo his son took. “Had a letter with it. It was a letter from his teacher. She just wanted us to know about this. She said that the picture was a project that she had the students do, a photography picture.”
“She wanted to take a picture of fall and a realism project — something that was real that meant something to the student,” he recalled. “She said when she went back and looked at the realism, it spoke to her. What she believed Preston would want in all of our hearts and minds as we move forward: In God We Trust. I was in tears. We broke down. It’s one of the greatest gifts that you could get — knowing that was the last picture that our son took.”
